Postcard #32. Pasta

Paul from Orlando requested “Pasta” which I was pleased to say was already well and truly on my list of Italian “musts” to explore. The thing that struck me about the pasta in Rome was just how many amazing tricolor pasta varieties there were. None of this boring plain stuff we get here in Australia. It was multicoloured, playful and an infinite variety of shapes.

I bought dried bows, twirls and fettucine and with the help of my cousin Elizabeth, arranged the lovely colours and shapes around the word.
