Luisa and Heather from Windsor requested the ”Romulus and Remus statue“ and so I paid a special visit to the “real” one, The Capitoline Wolf in the Palazzo dei Conservatori on the ancient Capitoline Hill, but as I drew closer, I started to see replicas just about everywhere I looked. My favourite was a topiaried version just outside the museum. Brilliant.
As both Lou and Heather made the request, I decided to make two, a typographic version out of hedge for Lou, and a photoshopped version of the real statue, just to annoy Heather because she’s a photo journalist and hates image manipulation. Ha!
