Postcard #47. Gypsy’s Face

Michelle from Castlemaine requested a Gypsy’s face and this proved very difficult.

In my previous experience in Athens and Prague, it’s mainly the gypsy children that ask for money, whereas the only gypsies I saw in Rome were older ladies with no children in sight. I am glad I was asked to take this photograph, even if it was uncomfortable for me (and the lady in question I imagine), because it’s one of my favourite images from the trip.
